Google Business Profile data
MissionLens can connect to a customer’s Google Business Profile listings so that the opening hours, holiday hours, temporary closures and closure notices shown on Google match what the customer manages in MissionLens.
How we get access. A customer gives MissionLens’s own Google account manager access to its listings, or signs in with its own Google account and grants MissionLens permission. We only act on listings the customer has confirmed in its MissionLens settings. The customer can stop this at any time from its settings or by removing our access in Google, and we remove our own access when a customer leaves.
What we access and why. We read a listing’s name, address, phone number, opening hours, special hours, open or closed status and posts, and we update hours, special hours, open or closed status and closure posts. We use this data only to show the customer how its listing compares with its MissionLens settings and, with the customer’s consent, to publish the customer’s changes to its listing. Automatic updates happen only where the customer’s administrator has turned them on, and every change we make is recorded and visible to the customer.
How we store it. We store the Google account connection (encrypted), the link between each listing and the customer’s branch, and a log of the changes we made and who approved them. Listing content we read from Google is kept for no more than 30 days.
How we share it. We do not sell Google Business Profile data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone other than the customer it belongs to and the service providers that host MissionLens, who act under confidentiality obligations.
Google’s rules. MissionLens’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Calendar data from Google and Microsoft
When an administrator connects a Google or Microsoft 365 account to MissionLens, we ask only for permission to see, create, change and delete events on calendars that account owns, and for the account’s email address so we can show which account is connected.
What we use it for. We show the events of the calendars your administrator links in MissionLens, and we keep them in sync both ways. When your staff add, change or delete an event in MissionLens, we make the same change in the linked calendar.
What we store. For linked calendars only, we store copies of events from one month in the past to six months ahead: title, date and time, location, notes, repeat pattern and category. We store the account’s sign-in token encrypted. We do not access any other calendars, email, contacts or files.
What we never do. We do not sell calendar data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the providers that host our systems. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train AI or machine-learning models.
Your control. An administrator can disconnect at any time in Org Settings → Calendars. You can also remove MissionLens’s access from your Google Account or Microsoft account settings. After that, MissionLens can no longer read or change your calendars. Copies of events already synced stay in your MissionLens account until you ask us to delete them at integrations@missionlens.org.
MissionLens’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
